Volunteer Counselling Opportunities
We are always on the look out for volunteer counsellors to join our team, with their help we are able to provide low-cost counselling to those living in South Warwickshire.
Whether you are a trainee counsellor looking for a placement to complete your hours, or a qualified counsellor looking to give back to your local community, gain experience or hours towards accreditation, we would love to hear from you.
We have a limited number of placements available throughout the year across our locations (Warwick, Stratford, Kenilworth and Remote), as well as opportunities for work-based learning.
How to Apply
To register your interest please email placements@newhopecounselling.org.uk and we will send you an Expression of Interest form to complete. Here we gather your contact details, where you are studying, preferred counselling location and availability. This enables us to approach the right people at the right time.
When counselling slots become available matching your preferences, we will invite you to complete an application form.
We recognise you may have already found a placement by then, so please let us know and we will take you off our list.
Next Steps
Applications are short listed; therefore, we encourage you to be thorough and provide as much information as possible. If you are invited to an online interview, we will arrange a time that suits you and our team. If successful we will arrange an induction which typically takes 2 hours.
DBS checks, references and trainee agreements will all be completed by our staff team.
All our staff team are part time, please bear this in mind when contacting us. We will do our best to get back to you as soon as possible.
