Cookies

A Cookie is a message given to a web browser by a web server. The message is then stored by the browser in a text file called cookie.txt. Each time the browser requests a page from the server, this message is sent back. A cookie’s main objective is to identify users and personalise their visit by customising web pages for them, for example by welcoming them by name next time they visit the same site. A site using cookies will usually invite you to provide personal information such as your name, email address and interests. The New Hope website uses this type of cookie only where it is an essential part of the process, for example, for remembering your name and enquiry details when you submit an enquiry, in order to create an email to the administrator. Another use of Cookies is for the collection of statistical information to assess the performance of the website. This website does use code from a Third Party supplier to provide statistical reports on our pages.  This code uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by the Third Party supplier on servers in the United States . We will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, by compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage.  Our Third Party supplier may also transfer this information to other third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on their behalf. They will not associate your IP address with any other data held.  New Hope may use report generated by this software to help understand user behaviour and to improve the website content, but all data we use is anonymous. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website.  By using this website, you consent to the processing of data about you by this code in the manner and for the purposes set out above.

Future Information Usage

We may use your personal data for future email mailings, support, notification of new services, general correspondence regarding the services and correspondence which may relate to you. If you would rather not receive future marketing emails from us please inform us by completing the Enquiry Form. The information you provide will be kept confidential and will be used only to support your customer relationship with us. We do not disclose or sell your information outside our organisation, except if we sell the whole or part of our business. If the latter were ever to happen we would ensure that the new owners were bound by the same confidentiality procedures as we are.

Right of Access, Right to Rectification and Right to be Forgotten

Under GDPR you have the right to access data that is held about you, to get it rectified if there are errors or to get the data deleted.
